Crossroads

Tuesday night was quite a memorable night. It was the first night all of us interns got to go to an event. It was the CMT Crossroads...but in order to not risk getting in trouble I will not reveal who performed. I will only say they were both amazing and I might have gotten into it a little to much.

The venue where it was located was a very intimate "off the beaten path" place...very Nashville. About six or seven of us interns helped check people's tickets and usher them in. Can I just say I love all of the interns? I thought that I liked them from the few times we had gone to lunch and the small talk in the halls, but after Tuesday night it was confirmed. I think their is something about people that are all interested in the same thing that bonds you. You already have so much to talk about because you are interested in the same things and you are going in the same direction with your careers.

We all got to stand in the back for the show...which was not a bad deal because we ended up in the center isle directly across from a certain very attractive musician. Because of this I was obligated to sing along to all of the songs and dance so that he would know they were doing a good job! I suppose that is why one of the camera men kept on turning the camera in my direction. Hahaha oh well...I was in the moment.

Afterwards I went with a few of the interns for coffee and we had a very delerious and hyper conversation about the night, our internships, and all of the other interns. For a moment I felt as if we were re-inacting a Nashville version of the Hills.-However, as one of the interns pointed out "none of us are slutty enough." I think that is a good thing. Maybe no one would watch it, but I sure am having a good time!
